Ken Romig has been engaged in economic consulting for more than 30 years.  Ken has served as an expert witness or consultant on intellectual property, breach of contract, antitrust and other general litigation issues, including venue transfer analysis, relevant market studies, and questions of commercial success.

Mr. Romig also advises clients by performing assessments for due diligence efforts related to matter funding or intellectual property asset valuation.

In the course of his work, Mr. Romig has conducted analyses pertaining to lost profits, reasonable royalties, price erosion, and other economic damages within a variety of industries. He also has analyzed the impact of patent exhaustion on economic damages tied to downstream products. He has consulted on matters before various districts of U.S. Federal Court, state courts, and the International Trade Commission. The industries in which he has been most frequently engaged are those relating to semiconductors, wireless and mobile communications, network infrastructure, and personal and corporate computing.

Mr. Romig also has consulted in areas outside of litigation. He has studied the competitive effects of mergers on behalf of merging parties and government regulatory agencies. He also has engaged in analyses of diligent enforcement of state statutes.

Ken Romig leads the Micronomics office in Long Beach and oversees firm hiring and training.

Mr. Romig received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College.
