Mr. Ferioli has been engaged in economic consulting for more than a decade.  He has served as an expert witness or consultant for matters including patent infringement, antitrust claims, standard setting, tortious interference, and false advertising. His work has involved the calculation and determination of lost revenues and profits, reasonable royalties, FRAND royalties, and fair market value as well as conducting econometric analyses and but-for analyses.

Mr. Ferioli has attended trials and worked closely with testifying experts and attorneys in patent enforcement and antitrust actions in U.S. District Court and Superior Court of California, as well as a JAMS arbitration involving fair market value for video programming and distribution.  He also has consulted with companies regarding the development of license rates for patent portfolios that have been used for successful licensing programs and enforced at U.S. District Court. Industries in which Mr. Ferioli has been engaged include consumer electronics, telecommunications, enterprise networks, software applications, mobile payments, cable and satellite television, streaming services, cinema, and medical devices.

Prior to joining Micronomics, Mr. Ferioli provided financial analysis at BrandAmerica, a financial services firm, and assessed trade compliance at the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration. Mr. Ferioli received a Master of Pacific International Affairs Degree in International Economics and International Management from UC San Diego's School of International Relations and Pacific Studies.
